10 Minute Garlic Olive Oil Pasta

This recipe is perfect if you are short on time and want a super easy, delicious meal. All you need is six simple ingredients that probably are already in your kitchen! This recipe is also a great option for a group as it is very easy to double the recipe if you have people coming over or a large family! I love this recipe because the garlic infuses in the rich olive oil to create a robust flavor profile that truly tastes gourmet! I hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of spaghetti

  • 1/2 cup Templeton Olive Oil

  • 4-5 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 tsp dried chili flakes

  • Salt to taste

  • Parmesan for topping (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook pasta according to directions (save 1/2 cup of pasta water)

  2. While the pasta is cooking add olive oil, garlic, and chili flakes to a pan and cook on a medium heat until garlic is lightly browned.

  3. Reduce heat and add in chopped parsley.

  4. Once pasta is done cookin,g add noodles to the pan along with 1/2 cup of the water from the pot and cook on medium heat just for about a minute until the noodles are coated with the oil based sauce.

  5. Top with parsley and parmesan (optional but recommended).

  6. Enjoy!!!
