Soft Olive Oil Sugar Christmas Cookies

Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Templeton Olive Oil
1/4 cup apple sauce
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Steps:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together.
In a separate bowl, mix Templeton Olive Oil, sugar, egg, applesauce, and vanilla.
Pour half of the dry ingredients into the bowl with wet ingredients. Once mixed, add the other half and, mix again until completely smooth.
Scoop out small balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. You can also roll out and use Christmas cookie cutters for an extra fun touch!
Bake for 10-12 minutes then let them cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan. *** Make sure to not over bake!
